I listened to this book on audio two years ago and it was just ok for me. This time around I checked out the hardcover from the library and am I glad I did. An incredible read with an amazing ending that gave me chills. I can't wait to start Book 2! ...more

Shelves: own-kinde, own-read, own-audible

Like most new dystopian books I like the idea and story.... but I'm not sure the writing is my cup of tea. Just my personal opinion of the authors writing. I'm still not convinced I need to get Golden Son (book 2)... but we shall see how my ruminating goes.

I was not a big fan of all the careless death. I think I understand why Brown wrote it that way, but it was disturbing. ...more
