This is a 5 star book. A joy read. Author writes with intelligence, wit and grit. Warning, there are passages that will bring a tear to even a calloused reader. First few pages were difficult as innovative plotting resulted in early chapters without context. Story told with elegance that prompts examination of life's inconsistencies, inherent love coupled with and unmerciful randomness. Last pages were hard to get through.
