This book is bloody brilliant! Truly magnificent! I was so hooked on reading this that I took a sick day at work just so that I could finish reading it in one sitting.

I really connected with the main character more than most I read about. There were so many parallels between the main character, Cath, and myself that it felt like this book was about me or written specifically for me. I am from Omaha, Nebraska just like the main character and the autho

It's official; I love Rainbow Rowell. This is the third book I have read by her and I can safely say now that I love her work. She writes realistic, flawed characters and I always feel like I can relate. Her relationships have rung true for me in all three books. I just hated Cath. She bugged me. She’s so bland and boring and introverted and reading about her just made me realise how all the books I really like, have female characters that are fierce and driven and… not completely and utterly (as Cath’s roommate called her) pathetic.

I mean, kudos for the author for writing a char

This isn't about 'fangirlS' plural or fandom in general. This is about one fangirl who writes a bunch of slash fanfic about a series that is about teenage wizards--but isn't Harry Potter.

It's not even in a world where Harry Potter doesn't exist. The wizarding world doesn't even seem very interesting at all:

- The spells are super lame. (Presto changeo? Really?)
- There are wizards and vampires and MERWOLFS mentioned? Like...werewolf/mermaids? (I listened to the audio so I might be off base on how
