I never thought I'd say it but I've just read a Charlaine Harris book. Don't get me wrong, I've heard she's a very good author, it's just that I very rarely read YA books. Probably the last one was Harry Potter.

I was looking for something good and I'm a sucker for paranormal, which you might or might not know, when I read that Charlaine Harris had an adult book out. It was on my Kindle within second and...wow.

Have any of you read "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café" by Fannie Flagg? I

I read and enjoyed most of the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, so I was looking forward to reading her new series. However, I was very disappointed in this book.

The writing was flat, and the plot and characters were boring. Nothing much even happens until at least 100 pages into the book, and in the end the mystery is solved out of nowhere.

I heard of this series thanks to the TV show, Midnight.

A character-driven paranormal mystery, Midnight Crossroad was the perfect choice for my Halloween reading. I'm not a horror fan but very much liked this tiny Texas town filled with strange, quirky, and sometimes creepy characters. ...more

I love mysteries and I really love this author so I was expecting a great read but it was totally boring. I was so disappointed.

The characters are interesting but it just drug on and on and then finally we get a dead body, it was Bobo's girlfriend who he thought had ran off. The police think he did it so those in Midnight have to try and solve the murder to help Bobo.

Midnight his full of strange characters just like you would think you would get from this author..vampires, witches, psychics, et
