No resolution of Curran's shitty behavior from the first book.

Kate is not Kate anymore. She has turned into mcSissyPants. She whines and acts like a damsel in distress which is such a far cry from what made her awesome that it just broke my heart! I did not mind her worrying over Curran - it may have been excessive - but I dealt with it. It was the waiting for Curran to rescue her ...more

This is the kind of series you immediately want to dive into the next book right away. SO much so that even if its not in your budget, you'd bite the bullet and buy the next one just so you can breathe easy.

Finished Magic Breaks in two days. Considering I'm in a book rut that's a record. I just loved this series. Action packed all the way, love all around, loyalty to your "family", and offing some good characters every now and then. The last one was a surprise. Very realistic. I loved it.

By this point I'm just not happy with where the plot had to go in this one. It was also strange that it seemed that this was like a last book. I wonder where the story will go from here, and which characters besides: Kate, Curran, and Julie will come along?
