I can't get enough of this series. It is full of action, adventure, great world building and characters that I want as my best friends. Rachel has gone through so much in the past 11 books I HOPE things are finally going to move in her favor. I don't want to say much about the book because I don't want to ruin anything for anyone but I will say I LOVED IT. This is the second last book in The Hollow's series and it remains as fast paced as the rest of the books. As we are gearing up for the end some storylines are starting to end and further secrets are being revealed. The main character relationships are still developing and I can not wait to find out how it all comes together.

In this instalment we are introduced to 'Wild Magic' and in turn secrets are revealed about Elf magic and we discover more about their history with the demons. I promised n ...more

I really enjoy this series. Rachel tries so hard to do everything right but it seems like no matter what she does everyone makes what she does seem like it's wrong even though what she does saves them time and time again.
I'm sad that there is only one more story to go in the series as I've so enjoyed it, I think that's part of the reason I've put off reading it for so long.

This remains one of my very favorite series running, and I never regret picking up these books... it's like visiting some of my favorite old friends.

I'm interested to see where the Trent plot goes. It's safe to say we've been building towards this for a long time, but to be honest, I don't trust him at all. At. All. I'm not sure how Harrison can steer this to make me trust him. So yes, there's chemistry, but I am worried that Rachel hasn't learned anything from her horrible track record with men ...more

(4.5 stars) I've grown so attached to these characters and wish I could have my very own Pixie clan. The end is near and Kim Harrison has done well preparing us for it. It's sad though that after 10 years of Rachel & Co 2015 will be the last year I'll have a new Hollows book to read. ...more
