Hi all! This is Preethi. This is my second Bingo challenge.

I shall be going on a vacation in the middle this month, so no captain hat for me. But, I'll be able to read the books, and post my reviews, so worries.

I'm here! I think this is my third or fourth BINGO. I'll go along with whoever wants to volunteer as captain. (I'm not chomping at bit to be team captain, but I am going to be home the entire rest of this year if the time issue leads to no one else volunteering).

My past experience says if anyone is in same timezone as the shelf announcements and other activities that it's helpful (I'm eastern timezone U.S. and it's 4:14 pm on Friday, Nov. 1 as I am posting)

I'm completely blank on team name suggestions. Anyone have any ideas? (I think it's a tradition that it contains "seven" but not a rule). Not sure "stumped" is a good team name but that's what I am.

I haven't heard from Josie.

I ran thru some of the internet team name generators and didn't see any names that gave me a good vibe or jogged my hungover brain into coming up with something really good (more of violent manly sports teamish things popped up or complete nonsense things).

I'm not particularly fond of "Aces"--"Ace" tends to be the name of some nasty bullies in all the classic sf juveniles or else some swaggering overconfident jock. In craps, 7 is "Six Ace" so could be an appropriate name although the "Come Out Seven" in craps is luckier/instant-win-nier.

How about: Speed Demons, Speedy Readers, Lucky Seven Speed Demons, The Supernaturally Speedy, Seven Wanders, Come-Out Seven, Six Ace, Seven and Seven (okay, it was kinda a liquid Friday night) , Speedster Seven, Speed Readers, Seven-Speed, Lucky Strike Seven, or any Lucky Seven variations? Or variations with Speed or Speedy?

I'm kinda liking The Supernaturally Speedy or Speed Demons.

Unless Josie pops in volunteering to be captain, I'm thinking Preethi Paris is our team captain. Paris Preethi didn't want due to vacation interrupting, I don't care if I am or am not, and Brittany is a first time player.

Time zones confuse me, but I'm pretty sure even with Preethi Paris only online evenings/nights in her timezone that she's still posting our goodies before the moderator pops in Sydney timezone to credit/update stuff.

Name-wise, what about playing on the seven deadly sins? Reading sins? The seven deadly readers? Wait, there's not seven of us haha.

Along with the FREE SPACE rules, other rules remain the same as well. For instance, all books must be 200 pages or more. No graphic novels are allowed. Re-reads are allowed. Anthologies found on the shelves are allowed, but the entire book must be read. Reviews do not have to be long, but they do have to tell us more than "I liked it!". Please let us know that you liked it, but also tell us what you liked about it. Will you continue on with the series? Did you have a favorite quote? Make us want to read it too. Or, tell us why we should steer clear.

I think my final answer/vote for team name is also "Seven: Deadly Speed Demons"

—even if sounds a bit like there are seven of us, we know it's for seven deadly sins and for team 7 -- I think adding the colon or a dash or something after Seven helps.

That's right Brittany. You can read any book on that shelf no matter what page it's on, just as long as it's 200 pages or more. And you don't have to read the same book as any of your teammates.
