First, I have to say that I find it odd that when I first read this book, having been reading books in this genre for only 9 years, I didn't rate it higher than 3.5-stars. Not sure how I feel about this book just yet. It was interesting for sure, but at times I felt lost. I hate being tossed in a world without some sort of life raft. At the beginning with Rule he is talking about a Rho, and other terms and I had no idea what on earth he meant. Also sometimes Were's would be referred to as Wolves, other times as 'with the blood' and other times as Lupi or the plural of Lupi. I wished the author had just chosen one term.
