I've been putting off reading the Mercy books for some time now - not sure what I was thinking on that one! This prequel to the Alpha-Omega series has me hooked and I am more than ready to start a whole new series of books without having completed quite a few others. Anna and Charles' story is compeling and I look forward to more.

This prequel is ABSOLUTELY necessary before reading the first book in the series.
Good first entry into the spin-off series from Mercedes Thompson.
