I love Vlad, I love Vlad , I love Vlad!!!

As you can see I love Vlad. I have been looking forward to his story since he ended up being part of the gang with Cat and Bones. I was glad to see that his story and fall to love last more than one book. He was too complex a man, and thus too complex a vampire to be able to be summed up in one book.

I love Leila just as much. she was the perfect woman to come along for Vlad. She is no shrinking violet, which I love, but at the same time she is trying to ...more

It's been nearly 4 yrs since I read this one and with the new one coming out later this year, thought I'd re-read the series.

Leila, a psychic electrical conduit, is kidnapped by vampires in an attempt to use her abilities against a powerful vamp, Vlad Tepesh.

Vlad meanwhile is surprised by Leila spying on him, in his head. They work out a deal & Vlad "rescues" her. But hangs onto her for her own safety, of course.

Loved Vlad's story, until the ending that is. What do mean I have to wait for another book? Really?!?! Spring needs to get here immediately so that I can find out what happens next. I am dying to read the next installment! ...more
