Shelves: own, urban-fantasy

As usual, I loved the story and characters but the repetition drove me a little crazy. It seemed a bit better in this book but that could also be that the story really swept me along (went through it in a day) so I just might not have noticed. For anyone who's read the series it's been leading up to the big confrontation between Gin and Mab. And that did not disappoint. There were a lot of skirmishes leading up to it and they did a lot to show just how strong Mab is. I like that Gin's been fight ...more

It is finally time for Gin to go after Mab and get revenge for her family.

What I enjoyed:
* The characters in general. Gin has made a nice little family for herself.
* Gentry and Syndney
* (view spoiler)
* Finding out more about Sophie and Jo-Jo.

What could have been better:
* There seemed to be more time spent on describing outfits and locations than I remember in the previous books.
* I couldn't put my finger on wha ...more
