What Members Thought

OMG i never thought one book could bring so many emotions out of me. tears one minute, laughter the next, and anger and fear and finally ultimate happiness. This was the culmination of so many story lines all in one and each held my heart. As a first Ms Singh even included a secondary romance with just as much potenital for tears and strife. I cannot wait for more in this series but i doubt anything could ever top this.

I have not been reading this series in order therefore I have missed the dancing around each other bit which now makes me sad.
I felt a little let down as Hawke was adamant to stay away from Sienna and then all of a sudden he wants her and he wants to be his mate! Hawke kept pushing Sienna away and I had to go back a few pages to see how it happened that they are now together thinking I missed a few pages!
Aside from that, this is a solid read and very enjoyable.

The book surpassed all my very high expectations. I read it very quickly the first time and then I started to enjoy it - reading it or parts of it again and again.
The development of the relationship between Hawke and Sienna was so awesome. He gave her time when he realised that this very young woman was indeed very old. He tried to defend her, her to protect her - although sometimes he was just too "alpha" for her.

I just knew I would love these characters and they absolutely were the fireworks I expected. Other favorites like Judd and Riley were brought back in and the changeling packs work together in war! Fantastic! But, the thing is, I love, love, love this author and this series, but thing is I feel that a stronger editor's pen is needed. With the exception of a couple of plot details I could have started at chapter 28, around the 50% mark and been much happier not wasting 2 days skimming half the boo

This book deserves a ten if the scoring is 1 through 5. Much awaited and anticipated Hawke and Sienna's story covers the matrix of emotions. Ms. Singh keeps the tension that has built between the two in the previous nine books at a razors edge until the very last possible moment. I laughed, cried, gasped and seriously considered tossing my Kindle across the room in an attempt to beat some sense into these two. I honestly don't know how to go about reviewing this book without some seriously pathe

Enjoyable entry in the Psy/Changeling 'verse. Nalini Singh has a very lush almost 'Harlequinesque' way of writing these books (especially the sex scenes). It's quite a distinct voice from her Guild Hunter series. In this book we see Hawke and Sienna's story which long-time fans have been waiting for 4EVAH! Hawke (leader of the Wolf pack) gallantly resists the much younger and inexperienced Sienna (a fugitive X-Psy) but you just can't control those shifter hormones! LOL.
