I wanted to love this book, but I couldn't. A good portion of the book was retelling all the stuff that happened in the previous books. I don't mind a little refresher on the story, but I don't want a huge chunk of this story to be a refresher.
I was also getting annoyed with Mac wanting to know what Barrons is. I get it, you don't know. An author should know that they don't have to shove it down a readers throat every other page that the main character doesn't know and wants to know. I do want t ...more

Great read. The best thing about this book is the character of Jericho Barrons. He's a mystery; is he good or bad? Is he Fae or something else? Everytime we get some hint or clue it only leads to more questions. Luckily I already have the fourth book on hand, so the cliffhanger ending won't drive me too crazy!

Oh boy this one was chock full of surprises right up to the end. Mac is in trouble again. I cannot wait to read the next one to find out what happens. The end does not wrap up the story and leaves you on a cliffhanger so have the next book ready.
All I can say is holy shit. This is by far my favorite so far.
