I've always loved Regin, but Declan took a bit of getting used to. It's a testament to Cole's writing that I really enjoyed their adventure and grew to like DC. The story cleverly takes place in the same time frame as the previous book without being repetitive, and sets up the next two books nicely. Now on to Lothaire! ...more

Another homerun for the IAD series. I can't say enough about this book. Regin and Declan just floored me as a couple. He was dark and tortured and cruel and at first I didn't know how he could redeem himself into the hero that Regin deserved. Once again, though, Kresley Cole brought them together as a couple that I just loved! ...more
