I am giving this one a five star because I love Cole's books and this one was able to hook me good. It was a page turner, intense action, witty dialogue, passionate, and fabulous alpha males- Aiden the Fierce and Declan Chase. It has been awhile since a book had be tearing up, angered, cheering, and caused a riot of emotions.

I will admit it took me most of the book to have any happy feelings for Declan. Cole wrote Declan's tormented/demented character very well. Kudos to Kresley Cole for her abi ...more

It's a pretty good book. Although the storyline was very interesting, I thought the book was lacking in some areas. For example, I wasn't fully convinced by the fact that Declan is no longer Aidan but that Aidan is only a part of his memory. Declan still feels like Aidan to me. I also thought that the chemistry between Declan and Regin was too slowly developing until the end of the book neared.

I stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish this, even though I had a love/hate relationship with Chase. I came around in the end, of course. I loved Regin's sense of humor and smart mouth! The book definitely needed her comic relief, because it could be very dark at times. ...more
