This book is the story of the fourth Wroth brother who falls in love with a ghost.Yep, that's right a ghost. I was very intrigued from the start as how will Cole give a ghost and a crazy vampire their HEA but she does not disappoint. The start of the story can be deemed as cute and sweet. The characters interesting enough to keep reading. I have to tell you I really liked Neomi. For being a ballerina I immediately thought her to be a delicate, complaining snob. Kresley Cole does it again. I never think I'm going to like these guys, and then, bam! Sucked right in. Conrad was another perfect hero, bad guy turned good, assassin turned protector. Neomie is also great, a soft and delicate ballet dancer who has a real backbone when she needs it. And she teaches him a thing or two! *fans self*

One of the best things about Cole's writing - apart from the consistent mentions of New Zealand *fistbump* - is that she can write heroines in this genre who aren't ann ...more

It was an enjoyable read and Kresley Cole certainly can write. I'm not exactly sure what my problem is; why I'm just not connecting with the characters. I'm entertained while reading the book and there's absolutely nothing I can point to as a problem. But, when I'm done and I put the book away ... I'm not motivated to move on to the next one. I really enjoyed this book. It was plesantly predictible up until the last 10 pages. Then it got even better because it didn't end up the way I thought it would.
