These books continue to get better and better. The strength in these books, and what keeps drawing me further in, is the believability and depth of Kitty as a character. She has her strengths and her weaknesses. Like everyone, she goes through personal crises, one at the very beginning of this book. Although that crisis didn't directly effect any of the novel's plots, it shaped Kitty and made her feel realer throughout this book. I have always loved watching Kitty grow and change.

Now that I'm reading this book a second time, I seem to be getting over my scruples from my first read. Though I am firmly planted in the Cormac camp! Not that he end up with Kitty, but at least that he gets his chance to find his perfect person. I really enjoyed short stories in his perspective in Kitty's Greatest Hits.
I found myself a tad irritated with Kitty's wishy-washy attitude in the first half of the book. Then with a 'watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat' type of prank; I was fairly amu ...more
