A wonderful story of a van-driving mom who stops to buy carrots, suffers a head injury from a bank robbery gone wrong, and develops telepathic abilities that turns her ordered world upside down. The story is told from Shelby's first-person perspective, which works really well for a person who reads minds. I picked this book up as a freebie back in 2014, and I choose it randomly out of the 700+ unread books that I have on my kindle. Sadly it wasn't actually about carrots. But it was amusing and entertaining so there is that. I will check out the rest of the series in the future, if I ever get kindle unlimited again.
