I have to say that the series went downhill after Butch's book. I didn't think this book lived up to the other BDB previously. The relationship between Butch and Vishous was not something I am comfortable reading in a romance book. Plus, the way the Scribe Virgin brought Jane back was just plain stupid. Ward is grasping at straws for a good ending and I think she could have picked something different. ...more

This book has to be my favorite book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It was written so well and is full of continuous entertainment.

This is the first book in my opinion that heavily involves many of the characters in the series; which I loved. It is the story of Viscious and we finally get to learn about him and his troubled past. I liked his character before, but now I absolutely love him! The relationship between V and Butch evolves, Viscious meets his future and John continues to matu ...more

Less lessors + more Brotherhood = thoroughly enjoyable read. LOL.

Seriously, I was happy that the personal side of the lessor story was nonexistent in this book. The ending was an interesting twist and I definitely want to see where things go from here.
