I Love Butch!!! I have since the first time I read Dark Lover and I still do. There's just something about the rough-around-the-edges human that I can't resist!

He's been in love with Marissa from the beginning, and he's wanted to play more of a role in the battle the brothers fight night in and night out, and this book gives him the chance.

I went into LOVER REVEALED disliking the couple, Marissa and Butch and I came out disliking them even more. It didn't really surprise me that I didn't like this book because I wasn't expecting to in the first place since the main couple are two of my least favorite main characters.

I did start liking Butch a bit more in the last book, Lover Awakened, but in LOVER REVEALED both Butch and Marissa got on my nerves. One minute I was angry at Butch to the way he's handling things and his attitude to ...more

This was my favorite so far in the series. The friendship between the two main characters of this book is interesting to watch grow and develop.

J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood is an addictive series. I thoroughly enjoyed the fourth book in the series Lover Revealed.

What makes this a fun series? It has the prerequisite vampires (definitely not the sparkly kind), talcum powder smelling lessers, beautiful women that need rescuing/protection from said lessers, and lots of sexy times with the trademark bonding scent. Each book focuses on a different brother.

This set on mount TBR for awhile. I was worried. I didn't care that much for Marissa. She finally gets a backbone and it's good. The BDB is an awesome series; however, I tolerate in small doses only. Why? Alpha (and I mean ALPHA) males can only be tolerated so much before I want to bitch slap them. Hard. While I appreciate the original spelling, really?! Then there's all that Brand Name dropping. They're rich. I get that. I don't like reading about it every other sentence.
