I read that over and over. Then had someone else read it to make sure I wasn't reading incorrectly. Unfortunately, the person in question didn't know the definition as I knew it and to avoid deep embarrassment I ended the conversation. But I need to know. Does this mean what I think it means? While Butch is not my favorite Brother, he's definitely on my top 5 list. I loved rereading his story again. It was agonizing to go through his and Marissa's problems again, even knowing it was going to have a HEA.

V just breaks my heart though. The first book in the series I read was V's book. I don't usually read out of order but the library had V's book listed as the first in the series and after reading it, I was completely in love with him. The UST between him and Butch still kills me. And ...more

This was probably my least favorite so far, though it wasn't bad by any means. There was just a tsunami of emo coming from the h/h... which isn't really my thing. (It didn't help, either, that I truly disliked Marissa from the first book.)

But the development of the overall story was fantastic, and the secondary cast was truly a joy (they always are in this series).
