I'm going through a phase right now where I just flat out refuse to read anything that I absolutely am not excited to read. I've read and enjoyed the rest of this series. I started this book, the digital copy returned, I put it on hold again, and now I just have so many other things to read that I just don't care about this one right. I may try it again in the futur ...more

Lots of fun, explosions, bad guys, Lesley wanting to blow up stuff, but still with a soft spot for Peter.
And Bev and her relatives (the rivers) doing what they do best, saving the day, or just floating on the river with summer festivals.

Great story, great writing, but perhaps fewer funny moments than some of the earlier books. Peter feels more grown up now he's a detective and in a steady relationship. I still loved it and am keen for the next installment.
