Book #4 in the Peter Grant series revolves around architecture. Specifically the Elephant and Castle area and the SkyGarden Tower council flats.
A mutilated body, a suspicious suicide, a stolen German Grimore, a locksmith burned from the inside out, and policing the Spring Fair of the Thames God and Goddess. Just some of the interesting plot points in this one. Not to mention the Russian connection from the previous book.

I see this was pretty highly rated. I loved the first books. I didn't think this one was nearly as funny. And there were far too many dangling threads, like who is accessing the computer (not a spoiler, since it's right there in the beginning) and why, along with the obvious stuff.
I guess since book 3 was so great, this was a bit of a let-down. And of course I was gob-smacked by the ending (sorry, I got that from earlier books.) ...more
