4.5 stars. These aren't quick reads, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this series (though Book #3 Record of a Spaceborn Few was only okay IMO). I have read the series over 4 years, so it's hard to compare the stories to choose a favorite.

I loved the cultural interactions and respectful treatment of other cultures and views. Even when there was a heated disagreement, the characters tried to see the other's point of view and tried not to be rude or dismissive of the other character's impassioned view ...more
