Another side character vignette in the Elemental Assassin series, this one delves into the thoughts of crime boss and Fire elemental Mab Monroe, whose feud against the Snow family is the driving force of the series. My favorite part of this is the glimpse we get of Mab and Eira Snow, Gin's mother, as little girls. Very cool. ...more
