Kristen Ashley has done it again. Of course this is a bit of a departure from the other books that I have read by her, but it was just as good as the other.

Finnie goes to a parallel universe where everyone, well the good people, has a twin. She wants to go for the adventure, but mainly so that she can have a chance to see her loved ones again or at least this new world's version of them. She changes places with Sjofn, her twin. I started this review when I was 80% finished with the bo0k and my thought was..wow. N0t because the plot was unique, it wasnt, or the story telling beautiful, it was okay, but wow because it was that l0ng? Because n0rmally such a l0ng story would frustrate and bore me, but it didnt, although there were parts it did and I was daydreaming what to read next when Im 0nly halfway through this b0ok. However, I was dutifully surprised, dutifully, coz its a K.A. read you kn0w? :) so there are always su ...more

He decided things without telling Finnie. But over all it was a good book and now finally onto the next. ...more

I enjoyed Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series so decided to give this one a go. Interesting idea of parallel universe. Finnie pays a lot of money to a witch to switch places with her parallel universe twin for adventure and to see her parents again (who died in her universe). Her twin doesn't tell her what's up and she ends up showing up in time for her wedding to Frey Drakkar. Confusion ensues. Eventually they fall in love. There's also political/magical intrigues in this world that inform the s ...more
