★★★★½ (This is a review of the audiobook.) I enjoyed Renée Raudman’s narration of this book. She breathes life into many of Ilona Andrews's works and this is no exception. Her pacing is wonderful and her voices varied, all while having the appropriate emotion in all the right spots. (Yes, that is exactly what I said about #1. Verbatim. But, it all still applies.)

The second book in the Sweep in Peace installment is even more interesting then the first. I loved the characters new and old alike. The good humor and an interesting plot had me glued to the story in question.

I would've liked it more if there was actual romance in it. Really, until the guy she's interesting in appears it was passed the half mark (more towards 70%)...
Also lots of descriptions and characters.
Actually there are some better urban fantasy book than this one, but well we do like Ilona Andrew's writing so...
Bottom line, I don't think there was something great about this book plot wise, romance level and so on besides the concept that the main character is an inn keeper. ...more
