Dali and Jim's story that takes place during Magic Rises when Kate and Curran are away and Jim's in charge in their absence.

Dali has some pretty awesome powers and she's pretty badass in her own right even though she doesn't really see it that way until Jim points it out to her.

They make a sweet couple and I enjoyed listening to their story, which included a magical mystery that they resolved while finally managing to reach the same page ...more

Two of my favorite authors are in this anthology so of course I'll read it.

First up, Nalini Singhs' Secrets at Midnight.

√ Clueless female who is actually helpless in my opinion
√ Rescue the helpless female so she wont be so worthless.
√ Have sex
√ Everybody happy with the usual mine, mine, mine, mating line.
I love this shit.. I eat it up even at times when it just gets old and I might throw up.
