Oh Cress, how I long to have enjoyed you. Both your little sisters, Cinder and Scarlet, were five star reads for me. And although you are longer, you only merit half their rating.

Cress has been stuck in a satellite in orbit around earth for eight years. She is an accomplished hacker, and follows the progress of the rebels on board the Rampion ship. Her life changes drastically when the people on board contact her.

If I knew that the "last" book in this series would not be available until 2015 I'd NEVER start reading the first book...
I HATE waiting...
I read through these books like they were candy & didn't sleep till I finished all of them, including the "novellas", as well...
They are so short I don't want to include them in my reading "challenge"...
So, if you are like me & prefer to read trilogies or series with over a dozen books that are already finished or will be by the time you catch up, than hol ...more

This is such a good book. I love this characters, all of them, they all have their personalities and they interact accordingly. I really like Cress and I think it was brilliant the idea of temporarily blinding Thorne to allow Cress to blossom naturally.
Very very good book.
I really like how each couple is understandably drawn together. Is not because they are the only ones around, is not insta-love, is a development from respect, from admiration, and yes, a bit of delusional fantasy, but that i ...more
