A great book ! It was about Jacob who goes to a island that his grandfather would tell him about. This island was suppose to house Miss Peregrine's Home that had amazing children with special talents. Love the photos in the book really lent to the spooky feel of the book. I love all the relationships in book. especially
Jacob and his grandfather. I really look forward to reading the second one.

Lots of mysteries that ravel and unravel as the book progresses. Interesting premise, interesting resolution. It's plainly the beginning of a series, but it resolves well enough on its own. Easy to read. Not too gory. Creepy (genuine historical) photos. ...more

An excaiting read. The story drew me in from the beginning and kept me reading for hours. The story was very different from others I have read and it was refreshing reading something entirely new.

I was kind of bored with the story at first, honestly. I was unable to totally relate with the protagonist and probably because I prefer female main characters. The story only started to get interesting towards the end, when they were battling it out with the wight. Not sure if I will read the second book, we'll see. ...more
