While I love Stiefvater's Raven Cycle series I just couldn't get into this one like I was really hoping I would. I never felt a connection with the characters like I wanted to and although it was a good story, it didn't blow me away as much as I was hoping that it would.

Hopefully the next book will be better at capturing my attention and giving me that wow factor I am hoping for. ...more

I had checked out Shiver and took one look at the book and decided I would hate it. I didn't even read it! They tell people not to judge a book by it's cover, but I think I do that every week! See? We all have flaws..Mine is book cover :O But I re-checked it out and finished it in one night! I'm not saying this will happen to you, but DO NOT judge a book by it's cover!
Anyway...I'm sure you guys want to hear an actual review! So here goes..

This was a 2.5 and slowly creeped up to a 3 star book. I felt the characters were boring, and I didn't feel a connection at all between Sam and Grace. All in all though, it was a cute love story, but it won't be something I'll reread. I doubt I'll read Linger either. ...more
