Shelves: historical, romance, kindle
I really enjoyed this one. It was a fun, quick moving read for me. I especially loved the kids, Crispin of course but also Gretchen, the little warrior girl. There was nothing really new here as I found the book reminisent of both Garwood and Lydsay Sands books. It earned positive points for mostly avoiding "Highlander-speak". I'm looking forward to the next one in the trilogy. ...more
