I'm not really sure what I think of this book. It was a little strange to say the least especially the mythology of how vamps and angels are made. I think I like that it's different from most other series but I wish there were more details about how its done. I was totally lost on what was going on with Elena during the year where she was missing. I think the author meant for it to be a surprise but it was a little confusing for a while.
