Loved it!
Why didn’t I read these books sooner? I was very excited to be starting off the Guild Hunters series by Nalini Singh. I enjoy this author’s writing style. Her descriptions evoke images in my mind and it felt like I was watching a movie with great cinematography rather than reading a book.
Take the example of the Archangel’s Tower. Our heroine Elena has a townhouse with a view of the Archangel’s Tower. She can watch the angels fly in and out and around the towers. So cool!

I loved how Nalini made the story from different points of view so that the reader can follow Elena and Raphael in the story. It made the story very well with the back and forth between the characters. I also enjoyed the ending. I expected the conclusion but was still blown away with how Nalini ended it. Okay, I admit it was an explosive ending. Now I need to find time to read the next books in the series back to back with no interruption. I must co ...more

OMG... I was only going to give this 4 stars because it started out slow, there was a lot of explaining as its the first book of a series and she needed to lay out the characters and the world. So it was a slow start. But boy did it get good. It ended so well I had to give it 5 stars. I can not wait to get book 2.

This book is great! The way Nalini describes the beautiful wings of the archangels with all those colors. Loved it. Elena and Raphael are perfect for each other and now that she is an angel too it's going to be great. Can´t wait until i start reading the next book. :D
