My 3rd time reading this book and it was such a hardship... NOT!
I love this series, and I absolutely adore Lucas. Don't get me started on the cubs either :)
This is one series that gets better with every read, in part I think because it is so different and it took me awhile to get used to the language/Psy designations on the first read. I have really enjoyed Nalini Singh's work since I read my first book by her, Craving Beauty. So, I was prepared to be impressed by this new series and I was not disappointed. Lucas is smoking hot and Sascha is a great mate for him. I can't wait for more.

After a slow start and entirely too much world building, this turned into a really good story and start to series. I'm much more interested in the shifters (changlings) than the Psy, but I did end up liking Sascha.
All in all, I'm hooked enough to want to read the next in the series. ...more
