I did enjoy this book....it was very well paced, held my attention, had incredible chemistry between Reyes and Danika, and told the continuing story of the Lords of the Underworld and their conflict with the Hunters. The search for Pandora's box continues, and you really need to read these in order to understand what's going on.
Maybe it's just me....but did anyone see a similarity with this book and Lover Awakened by JR Ward. If not for this comparison, I might have liked this book more than I ...more

Dani was introduced in the first book, her family had been kidnapped by the Lords because Aeron had been ordered by Cronus to kill them. For the past two months she has been running, afraid for her life, her family, not painting and then she is attacked by Hunters and taken captive.

Much, much better than the first one. I love Reyes, and even though there were parts of it that didn't flow - or things like a trained warrior being so lost in thought that a mere human could just sneak into his room and put aknife to his throat... c'mon! - I still enjoyed this book. It finally stopped feeling like I was reading about the BDB, and the books have a lot of appeal. Very hot as well.
