What Members Thought

Regardless of whether you've read a lot about usability and design or whether you've read nothing on the topic, this book is interesting and useful. It manages to be approachable and not overly dry while simultaneously including lots of data from research studies, papers, etc. Despite its age, it has practical suggestions that continue to apply to the design of everything from your day-to-day habits to architecture, industrial design, software, and beyond.

A definite classic, although I feel it falls a little flat (as it feels dated) toward the end. Other than that, a must-read for designers, engineers, and everyone in between.
