The narrators continue to do great jobs. There's some variation in the speed of the narrators though, so at high speed listening I had to do some modulation each chapter.

I enjoyed the first book more than this second, though that could change on reread. It feels like nothing much happens for the first 75% of the book or more. The cultural aspects are still interesting--I love the world and the setting--but it feels like the characters are stuck in stalemate. After the climactic ending of book 1,
