Very brief review that's essentially for all 3 books of the Icewind Dale trilogy (though I did like this last one best of the three):
I'm re-reading the R.A. Salvatore Drizzt books that I read when I was a teen with the goal of getting beyond what I originally read. I think the furthest I reached was Servant of the Shard.
All-in-all, these are pretty simplistic adventure books, which is not really my taste these days - I like a few more layers than we get here - and maybe I didn't enjoy them quite ...more
