A classic detective story aptly told. Set in a glamorous locale with interesting characters. Plus more romance than an Ellis Peters mystery. This is a fast fun read and its clear why Agatha Christie is considered such a master of the mystery form.

I enjoyed this more than any other Agatha Christie novel I’ve read. The characters were fun and held my interest enough that I wasn’t just thinking of the reveal at the end the whole time. I hope this is a good sign for my 2023 reading.
