This one pretty much caught my attention right from the jump as it intentionally uses dreadful grammar to encapsulate the inefficiencies in the protagonist's mental ability as he writes in his journal. Then, the reader sees his grammar improve upon having a surgical procedure done to improve his ability to recall new information.
