What Members Thought

Pride and Prejudice is quite possibly the best romance novel I have ever read. They just don't write romance like they used too. From practically the very beginning, I was captivated by Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. I've always loved the story of Pride and Prejudice since I'd seen the movie (with Keira Knightly) but I love it even more now that I've read Austen's masterpiece.
I really don't have any complaints except that I wish there had been more dialogue tags just to make some of the conversations ...more

I was really surprised by how much I ended up liking this book. I started it as another "classic" that I had to read, and after the first 60ish pages, I actually started to get into it. I don't know if it helped that I had already seen the movie, but I really enjoyed the characters.
