LOVED IT. I started reading Pride and Prejudice a few years ago and made it maybe 50 pages in, and then something happened and I got distracted with life and totally forgot to finish. SAD! Well this time, I was better prepared.
Not going to lie, some of the Austen style left me confused -- I wasn't always sure which pronoun referred to which person; some of the longer descriptions had me a little lost. Minor stuff, and my problem, not hers.

So, I finally got around to reading Pride and Prejudice after hating Sense and Sensibility. I think Jane Austen finally hit her groove with this one. Whereas S&S was mostly mindless drivel – endless passages dissecting every word and gesture of each and every character, I found P&P to be fresh and engaging.
