LOVED IT. I started reading Pride and Prejudice a few years ago and made it maybe 50 pages in, and then something happened and I got distracted with life and totally forgot to finish. SAD! Well this time, I was better prepared.
Not going to lie, some of the Austen style left me confused -- I wasn't always sure which pronoun referred to which person; some of the longer descriptions had me a little lost. Minor stuff, and my problem, not hers.

I read this for the second time in August 2019 as a part of the Modern Mrs Darcy book club. It was a little slower to get into the story this time, but once it did, I was again hooked. The second pass helped me to appreciate the secondary characters even more, and to pick up on some of the subtle foreshadowing.
Still haven't completed another Austen. Need to get on that!
