I came over this book while I was browsing Goodreads and Audible for something new to listen to. When I saw the ratings it had received I wanted to read it. I had just listened to the audiobook version of Ready Player One and didn't want to make the same mistake again. Great books should be read not listened to. So I bought the hard cover version.

Loved this novel! A fiction mix of Apollo 13, Robinson Crusoe and MacGyver! I really enjoy science fiction movies although I hardly ever read science fiction. I think the last book I read in the science genre was non-fiction: Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time". Both books are written in what I can only describe as nerd/geek language with a lot of humor. Both are very enjoyable with "The Martian" winning out as a favorite as the writer was able to make me care so much about the main char
