Another of Christie's most well known stories, not surprising, as it is so well thought out. We even get Poirot describing an archaeological dig as a way to solve a crime.

Egypt superficially sets the stage for a motly group of Europeans and Americans to be gathered on a boat. The murder of a celebrity amongst them sets Poirot off on searching through motives and back stories to find the culprit.
What I like about Christies books are that she drops hints tantalizingly all through the book. The reader is always looking out for them, and if you put enough of them together, you can get an hint of whats going on, but the main crime is always very cleverly hidden.
