I WILL review tonight, honest 😬
So here is tonight, and here is my review. I'm obviously still not fully up to speed as I don't normally take this long to write a review, especially for a Poirot and for a book I liked. Nor do I normally read my monthly Poirot so late in the month
Now I cannot ever remember reading this book, that said I of course know the story having seen Ustinov, Suchet and Finney all mooch around the boat to differing extents and pounce on red herrings or red stoles to bring th ...more

I was so outraged that I remembered the solution perfectly, and that prevented me rereading it until now. Knowing made no difference. Seeing the different parts of the plot come together so perfectly really made me appreciate Christie's mastery of her craft all over again. ...more

I always love reading this book. The characters and the plot are all so complex. There is also a great classic Poirot reveal at the end, which is always enjoyable. Lots of twists and red herrings before we finally discover the culprit before a final surprise. I like that Poirot has very set, but not very usual, morals and this shows the Death on the Nile. I also enjoy knowing that Agatha Christie spent time in Egypt which makes the setting feel even more real. Definitely one of Agatha Christie's
