SF novel about giant fighting machines.

Can't say much without spoiling the book for others. Just this: if you thought this was just another military SF slam-bang affair with alien machines, well you're in for a surprise.

I enjoyed this book, enough to just get a 4 from a 3. So 3.5. Liked it enough I am moving on to the next book. Some of the concepts were fantastic and I really enjoyed the story telling, done by interviews. It made for enjoyable reading and was different from most story telling methods. I loved World War Z's writing and this was similar, but different enough that it seemed novel. The story flowed well, kept me reading each night. This one is done. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - it was okay and I’ll probably read the next book, but I wasn’t really blown away by it. It read like an outline for a TV series, with each chapter a separate episode. Story was interesting enough to keep me reading until the end. Characters were pretty uninteresting, never grew attached to any of them. It was a quick read, something I could have knocked off in a day if I stayed off the damned internet! 😆
