5 stars. Kuang just might be a new favorite author of mine. Her writing is so freakin’ amazing that the two books that I’ve read from her have just left me in absolute awe. I wouldn’t be able to describe or intelligently talk about this book if I tried. Head empty no thoughts. This was engrossing and gripping and when I was reading it I was completely immersed in it.
