Rereading this was like coming home to something I didn't know I had missed. I originally read this series a couple years ago and fell in love with the characters, the narrator and the atmosphere of the book. While there is a plot, this more of a character driven story than anything.

I ended up DNFing this at around the 130 page mark. I believe I gave it a fair chance (or 2 to be more precise). I am, however, not going to give it a star rating because I did not finish the book.

I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. It was almost too chaotic. Things did not flow a well as they could have. I feel the author was trying to keep so much mystery with the paranormal that there was a lot of information left out. I like that Blue came out of her shell a bit. Moira could have given a little more information on Blues father. I feel like I need a better understanding of why Gansey wants to know some much about the key lines and the magic.
